Father George will be holding Orthodox studies in our church with the plan that these are fortnightly on every other Tuesday, subject to change depending on the service schedule. The next two studies will take place on 28th July and 11th August. Following study dates will be advised on the website and/or in the church.
In August we have several major celebrations including the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday 6th and the The Dormition of our Most Holy Lady the Theotokos and Ever Virgin Mary on Saturday 15th. The Ladies Auxiliary Committee have arranged a series of social gatherings for our senior parishioners. The first one was held last month and was enjoyed by all those who attended. There will be a Divine Liturgy service starting at 9 in the morning as we celebrate the Synaxis of the Twelve Holy Apostles: Peter, Andrew, James & John the sons of Zebedee, Phillip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Jude the brother of James, Simon & Matthias.
